It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lonnie Barnes of Pikeville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Barnes and Sadie Barnes; and his son Lonnie Barnes, Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Barnes (Jean) of Benson and David Barnes (Jennifer) of Benson; and his sister Brenda Harris (Paul) of Durham. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
