He is survived by: his mother Ella Louise Shingleton (Don) of Goldsboro; his wife Colleen Sturgeon Shingleton of Pikeville; his son Frank Shingleton (Sara) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Barrett Shingleton of Raleigh and Ramie Shingleton of Raleigh; his stepson Larry Horsey of Michigan; his siblings, Penny Harris of Kinston, Betty Mailing (Paul) of Little River, SC, Cathy Merritt of Goldsboro and Tony Shingleton of Pikeville; and his close friends, Jamie Bailey and Mike Webb.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service (117 NW 3rd St, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A reception was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
