It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Carl Wallace of Pikeville, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Corbett and Wealthy Wallace; his former wives, Elizabeth Wallace and Lela Wallace; his siblings, George Wallace, Arthur Lee Wallace, A. C. Wallace and Charlotte Myers; and his granddaughter Angela Calderon.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Stone (Kathy) and Johnny Carl Wallace Jr. (Brandy); his stepchildren, Stephen Dudley (Cindy) and Debbie Douglas (Eddie); his sister Shirley Downey (Jerry); his grandchildren, Dwayne Stone, Shannon Stone, Seth Wallace, Caleb Wallace, Benjamin Wallace, Kenan Wallace, Seren Wallace, Jason Douglas and Miranda Spivey; his fiancée Linda Midkiff; and his close friend Carol Davis.
