It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Allen Carter of Pikeville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Carter and Blanche Watkins Carter; and his wife Annette Lee Carter. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wayne Carter (Claudine) of Moncks Corners, SC, Vickie Carter Helm (Douglas) of Mt. Olive, Terry Carter Jackson (Kenneth) of Mebane, Debbie Carter Howell (Tommy) of Goldsboro, Kimberly Carter McCarthy (Dan) of La Grange and Loretta Carter James of Goldsboro. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
