Ellen Gooding Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Ellen Gooding of Pikeville, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Jernigan and Rebecca Evans Jernigan; and her husband David Gooding. She is survived by: her children, Lavern Gooding (Billie) of Pikeville, Joan Peele of Pikeville and Jan Sykes of Kenly; her goddaughter Sharon Person (Harold) of Pikeville; her sister Peggy Hyatt of Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, Marie, Billy (Jennifer), Myra (Lance), Todd and Willis (Christy). She is also survived by eight great- grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service will be held at Stantonsburg Cemetery. The family requests no visitation at the home due to the current national pandemic we are in.
