He is survived by: his wife Nora Oates Edwards; his children, Marla Dobson Suggs of Goldsboro and Edmond Edwards, Jr. (Cassandra) of Goldsboro; his grandson Anthony M. Dobson of Lanham, MD; his sisters, Geraldine E. Pounds (Raymond) of Goldsboro and Doris E. Smith (Wayman) of Greensboro, NC; his sisters-in-law, Blonnie Broadhurst of Goldsboro, Dorothy Elliott of Washington, DC and Iris Argroe (Arthur) of Goldsboro; his aunt Sadie Swinson; his friends, George Lane of Pikeville, Carl Rouse of Goldsboro and Kenneth McIver of Goldsboro; and his close friends, Bobbie Jacobs, Lillie Barnett, Koretta Kennon and Inez Simmons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
