With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Braxton Edwards of Pikeville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luby Carl Edwards and Eula Jane Creech; his siblings, Margaret Murchison of Virginia, L. C, Mary Puckett of Kennels Beach, NC and Sid Edwards of Kenly, NC.; his wife Joan Mitchell Edwards; his children, Terry Edwards Futrelle of Fremont, NC, Victor Edwards of Chapel Hill, NC and Lisa Edwards Edmundson (Chuck) of Fremont, NC.; and his sister Esther Merrill of Raleigh, NC.. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren.
The family asks that everyone please wear a mask while in attendance.
