He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert S. Hobbs and Pearline Sutton Hobbs; and his sister Janie Starling. He is survived by: his wife Connie Edwards Hobbs; his children, Kelley Ridgle (James) of Goldsboro, Chris Hobbs (Jamie) of Fuquay Varina and Curtis Hobbs (Sharen) of Goldsboro; his brothers, Scott Hobbs of Goldsboro, Jim Honrine of Atlanta, GA, Glen Honrine of Florida and Mike Hobbs of Mount Olive; and his grandchildren, Alana Hobbs, Holden Ridgle, Kristen Ridgle, Kaitlyn Ridgle, Jonathan Ridgle, Josiah Ridgle, Jace Ridgle, Pearl Tovar-Hobbs, Winston Tovar-Hobbs and Shiloh Dock Hobbs.
With the current COVID crisis, the family has chosen to not have a formal visitation.
Memorials may be given in Dock's memory to the World Witness Department of the Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1568, Dunn, NC 28335.
