She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Addison Thompson and Channie Hill Thompson; her siblings, Pearly Mae, Robert, John Earl, Herman "Bus", Willie Leslie "Duck", Virginia, Glennie, Gertrude and Carrie; and her grandparents, Henry, Louisa Hill, Hildreth and Louisa Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda, Staris, Kay, Marsha, Angela, Sharon, LaVonia, Will and Curtis; her grandchildren, Juarez, Bernadette, Chari, Shadonnia, Odettia "KiKi" (Demetrick), Stephen, Brandon, Lela, Malcolm, Jeffrey, Kayla and Karlton; her great grandchildren, De'Lon, Jonathan, Evan and Christian; and her sister Annie Eula Wilder (Johnathan) of Fort Washington. She is also survived by seven daughters, two sons, twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Due to COVID, funeral service and interment are being held privately.
