It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allene Harris (Pikeville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allene Harris to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry Jones and Mattie Pearce Jones; her husband Berford Allen Harris; and her siblings, Elvin Jones, David Jones, Rachel Allen, Otena Quinn, Nellie Enciso, Linda Jones and Myrtle Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Clayton (Gloria McCullen) and Jan Lindsey (Earl) of Roper, NC; her stepchildren, David Harris (Lisa) of Rosewood and Anita Martin (Jim) of Goldsboro; her sisters, Vonnie Bailey of Kenly, Hilda Gurley of Belfast and Brenda Jones of Pikeville; and her grandchildren, Tracy Lindsey, Michelle Clayton and Bobby Clayton (Angela). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 and governmental restrictions, a private graveside service for family will be held at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be directed to Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church Foreign Missions.
