Albert Leon Crumpler Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 94, Albert Leon Crumpler Sr. of Pikeville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Blackman Crumpler and Ruth Gurley Crumpler; his wife Leona "Grandma" Clark Crumpler; and his siblings, Wayne Garland Crumpler, James William "Bill" Crumpler, Mary Lancaster and Velda Hardy.
He is survived by: his children, Al "Beau" Crumpler of Jacksonville, NC, Michael Clark Crumpler (Sally) of Wilmington, Shelia Ann Sutton of Pikeville and Katrina Crumpler Rose of Fairfield; and his grandchildren, Wayne Crumpler, Kelly Jones, Michelle Marinelli, Hannah Crumpler, Sara Clark, Daniel Sutton, Patrick Myers and Waylon Crumpler. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). The military honors was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pikeville Cemetery.
