He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Leo Whitman and Nedra Newsome Whitman; his wife Syble Anne Webb Whitman; and his sister Dottie Whitman. He is survived by: his children, Andy Whitman (Donna) and Amy Neal; his grandchildren, Amanda Bailey (Lee), Andrew Whitman (Hannah) and Kevin Leo Neal; his great grandchildren, Addie Bailey and Owen Bailey; and his friends, Rev. Mitchell See and Rev. Ray Lamb.
