It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Darrel Boles Sr. of Pfafftown, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Oliver and Nellie Boyer Boles; and his siblings, William "Billy", Spencer "Junior" Boles and Jane Stimson.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his sister Janet Miller (Bob) of Durham; his children, Richard Darrel Boles Jr. (Sheila), Amy Joan Hatcher and Mark Shane Hatcher (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Darrel Boles, Laura Boyd, Stephen Harper, Lane Hatcher and Emily Hatcher; and his great grandchildren, Kendall, Alexis and Serenity. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church.
