He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Alessio and Francesca Squillaci Alessio; his stepmother Filomena Alessio; and his sisters, Josephine Alessio and Assunta Dima.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann Alessio; his children, Francesca Alessio (Vinny Marchese) of New York City, Michael Alessio, Jr. and Salvatore Alessio; and his grandchildren, Salvatore Alessio, Jr. and Annalisa Rosado. He is also survived by four brothers; three sisters; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
