He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Holt and Ethel Holder Long; his wife Louise Hayes Long; and his siblings, Thelma Long, Inez Hill, Edna Waller, Joyce Spainhour and Grady Long.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathi Long, Tanya Long and Tammy Buro (George); his grandsons, Bryant Jarvis, Jedidiah Brimmer (Keely) and Holt Brimmer; and his brother Glen "Skeeter" Long. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Church (4691 Vienna Dozier Rd, Pfafftown, NC 27040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
