We bid farewell to George William Flynt III (Pfafftown, North Carolina), born in Boise, Idaho, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 28, 2024 at the age of 78. George William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Geoge William Flynt, Jr. and Sallie Gauldin Flynt; and his brother Michael David Flynt. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Shankle Flynt; his children, George Benjamin "Ben" Flynt (Amy) of Hillsborough, NC and Katherine "Katie" Elizabeth Flynt of Greenville; his sisters, Susan Christenbury (Larry) of Wilkesboro, NC and Mary Sallie Styers (Rick) of Wilkesboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Emily Katherine Marshbanks, William Flynt Marshbanks, Hunter Carlson Marshbanks, London Therese Flynt, George Austin Flynt and Grayson Edward Flynt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pfafftown Christian Church, P.O. Box 130, Pfafftown, NC 27040.
