He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Willard and Effie Combs Willard; his daughter Lynette Miller; his granddaughter Lynsey Miller; and his brothers, Otis, Garnet, Aubrey and Paul Willard.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Norman Willard; his children, Penny Norman, Rodney (Sharon Willard) and Michael Willard; and his sisters, Bernell Easter and Shirley Glass. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
