He is survived by: his wife Wanda Joyner Alexander; his children, Glen E. Alexander (Sharon Fogarty) of Charlotte, NC and J. D. Alexander (Jennifer) of Lewisville, NC; and his grandchildren, Jenna Kathryn Alexander, Patrick Reece Alexander, Wren Welsh Alexander and Ayla Grace Alexander.
