It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Whitmire of Penrose, North Carolina, born in Gloucester, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Whitmire; and her sister Donna McCall. She is survived by: her children, Karen Wehrle (Tom) and Rich Whitmire (Debra); and her siblings, Bob Anders (Carolyn), Kenneth Anders (Martha), Dennis Anders (Phyliss) and Rita Ashe (John).
