She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Carr and Mary Ann Middleton Galloway; and her brothers, Caroll and Wallace Galloway. She is survived by: her husband James "Butch" Garrett; her sister Dorothy "Dot" Hendrix (Amos); her children, Annette Owens, Mitchell Garrett (Kim), Anita Garrett (Vernon), Ricky Garrett (Diana) and Regina Jones (Ray); her grandchildren, Levi Garrett, Renita Gentile, Kaleigh Ragan and Brianna Martin; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Jamison McPherson and Sydney Jablonski; and her niece Peggy.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Blanche Garrett.
