She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hobson and Kate Burleson Hobson; her husband Harry Willis; and her sisters, Sandy Greene, Carolyn Hobson, Millie Ann Smith and Vivian Peterson.
She is survived by: her brother David H. Willis of Union Mills, NC; her close friend Kristen Payne; and her son David. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
