He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Silvers and Rose Carpenter Silvers; his significant other Ella Mae Silvers; and his siblings, Jennie King, Grace Biddix, Bessie Smith, Maude Silvers, Roy, Paul, Perry and L. D. Silvers.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Silvers, Amber Silvers of Old Fort, Holly Silvers, Kim Bowman (Jeff) of Moore, SC and Jacob "Jake" Silvers; his stepson Harlos Silvers (Wendy) of Deep Gap; and his sisters, Wilma McMahan of Estatoe, Louise Bishop (Bobby) of Newdale and Francis Prewitt of Morganton. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, fourteen nieces and nephews that were like brothers and sisters, and several other extended family.
