He is survived by: his wife Hazel Edmonds Newsome of Elberton, GA; his children, Tierra Newsome of Elberton, GA, Ramon Newsome of Augusta, GA, Terrance Newsome and Trevon Newsome; his parents, William "Bubba" Newsome (Ernestine) of Ahoskie, NC and Vivian Wood Newsome of Ahoskie, NC; and his siblings, Tomika, Anthony, Cornielus, Allen and Taiwan. He is also survived by grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
