It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zeb Locklear Jr. of Pembroke, North Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb Locklear and Beulah Barton; his wife Vondola Locklear; his siblings, Glenn Locklear, Charles Locklear, Josh Locklear, Bobby Locklear, Delton Locklear, Reatha Mae Locklear (Bookie), Dileatha Locklear and Bertha Locklear Hardin (Rosa Lee); his grandchildren, Chris Jones, Damien Hunt and Michael Amaral; and his stepdaughter Shirleen Amaral.
He is survived by: his children, Rory Wallen (Stephanie Jones) of Maxton, Garrett Malcolm (Jessica) of Lumber Bridge, Allec Locklear of Pembroke, Marcus Locklear of Red Springs, Bonita Jones (Cardean) of Pembroke and Angel Wallen of Pembroke; his stepdaughter Sandra Jacobs of Pembroke; and his siblings, James H. and Brenda Lowery (Mitchell) of Red Springs. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
