He was predeceased by: his parents, Braxton Locklear and Mary O. Locklear; and his siblings, Billy Locklear, Charlis Locklear, Reedy Oxendine and Mattie Bell Oxendine.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanika Lynn McMillian (Jerome) of Fayetteville, NC.; his grandchildren, Sequoia L. Parrott of Raleigh, NC, Mary L. Hargrove (Joshua) of Homestead, FL and Xavier K. McMillian of Austin, TX; and his siblings, Spencer Locklear, Hubert Lee Locklear, James Earl Locklear, Lenora Locklear and Jan Locklear. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (3575 N Roberts Ave, Lumberton, NC 28360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Oxendine Cemetery Chapel Community Oak Grove Church.
