She was predeceased by: her parents, Barlie McNeil and Dorothy Jones; and her stepfather Kacy Jones. She is survived by: her husband James Prestwood Jacobs; her children, Latasha Nicole Jacobs and James Elliott Jacobs; her grandchildren, Bransleigh A'Riah and James Daniel Jacobs (JD); and her sisters, Lisa Materne and Mabel Hammonds. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Union Chapel Community Baptist Church (4148 Union Chapel Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at the Bear Swamp Baptist Church (1948 St Anna Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372).
