He is survived by: his daughter Mildred S. Locklear; his great grandchildren, Master Adrian Joelyn Martinez and Master Joe Calix Martinez; his daughters, Robin Jacobs of Maxton, Malissa Steen of St. Pauls and Paula K. Locklear (Pie) of Pembroke; his granddaughter Jessica K. Hunt (Jamie) of Pembroke; and his siblings, Pennie Steen, Tela Brooks (Craig), Daphne Moser of Rowland, Sue Dimery of Pembroke, Mary Vargas of Massachusetts, Hugh Steen (Sandy) of Rowland and Randle Steen of Maxton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
