Velissa Locklear Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Velissa Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 58. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Rosetta Norris and Donald Quick; her brother Paul David Lesley of Rockingham, N. C.; and her aunt Dorothy G. Clark. She is survived by: her siblings, Terry Lesley (Janet) of Blenheim, S. C., Michael Norris (Tracey) of Palm Coast, Fla., Richard Johnson of Turbeville, S. C. and Valerie Rahner (Rick) of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; her uncle Buck Norris (Delia) of Virginia; her aunts, Marie G. Lee (Larry) of McColl, S. C, Carolyn Grooms of McColl, S. C, Loraine G. Lesley of McColl, S. C and Darlene G. Rosario (Alberto) of Goldsboro, N. C.; her husband Gregory Locklear; and her children, Gregory Hunter and Bayleigh Elizabeth (Trey).

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (1667 NC-710, Rowland, NC 28383). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery (1667 NC-710, Rowland, NC 28383).
