He is survived by: his wife Rosella Brooks; his children, Letha Gwendolyn Locklear (James), Percy Todd Brooks (Jennie), Ted Quentin Brooks Jr. (Nicole) and Mark Simeon Dufrene Brooks (Andrea); his sisters, Joyce Bell, Louise Oxendine and Jeannette Livengood (Johnny); and his in-laws, Mary Brooks (Jeffery), Charles Hunt (Janice) and Veronica Knight (Robert). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 5 step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
