It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Schmale of Pembroke, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Sam Locklear and Lizady Locklear; her mother Gerelene Locklear; her son Tony Schmale Jr.; and her aunt Nettie Locklear.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Schmale; her father Paul Locklear; her sons, Holden A. Locklear of Pembroke, Christopher W. Locklear of Pembroke, Daniel L. Schmale of Pembroke and Brent A. Schmale of Pembroke; her sister Chanel Locklear; and her brother-in-law Eric Locklear. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen nieces, three nephews; five great nieces; three great-nephews.
