She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Merlin Lowery; her children, Fredrick Earl Lowery and Norma Jean Lowery; her mother Winnie Jane Sampson Oxendine; her stepfather John Hugh Oxendine; her siblings, Henry Robert Oxendine and Elsie Oxendine Pounds; her granddaughter Alyssa Lowry; and her close friend Vera Lowry.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Lowery Oxendine (Jimmie) of Maxton, NC, James Dwayne Lowry (Bonnie) of Hamlet, NC and Michael Ervin Lowry (Shirley) of Pembroke, NC; her grandchildren, Marja Bianca Lowery of Midway, GA and Terry Ernest Lowry of Pembroke, NC; and her great grandchildren, Karter of Midway, GA, Kamron of Midway, GA, Konner Coleman of Midway, GA, Cayson of Midway, GA and Cori Kennedy Gladney (Evelyn Locklear) of Midway, GA.
