With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Oxendine of Pembroke, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Oxendine and Mattie Hunt Oxendine; his siblings, Billy Hunt, John Frank Oxendine, Cecil Hunt, Evelynlene Chavis and Esther Oxendine; and his grandson Matthew Britt.
He is survived by: his children, Aundria Locklear (Samuel) of Lumberton, Angela Oxendine of Lumberton, John Oxendine (Heather) of Pembroke and Samuel Ethan Oxendine of Pembroke; and his siblings, Sanford Oxendine of Rowland, Robert Oxendine of Lumberton, Flora Oxendine of Rowland, Bernice Locklear of Fairmont and Evelyn Bilic of New Rochelle, NY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
