He was predeceased by: his father Berlin Ray Brooks; and his brother Christopher Ray Hunt. He is survived by: his mother Emmalene Jacobs (N. C.) of Pembroke, N. C.; his children, Amerikus O'Ryiah Jacobs, Nyan Brooke Jacobs and Ryan Dell Jacobs Jr. III; his siblings, Holonda Culbertson (Jason) and Marlon Jacobs (Kimberly); his nieces and nephews, Zachery Locklear, Triston Culbertson, Tyler Jacobs, Dalon Culbertson, Jazalon Culbertson and Alyonna Jacobs; his grandmother Asa Oxendine; his aunts, Francine Jacobs and Berlene Oxendine (Lem Jr); and his cousin Brent Oxendine. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
