She was predeceased by: her parent Urban Bullard Locklear; her husband Martin C. Ransom; her son Marty Ransom; and her parent Mary K. Ransom. She is survived by: her brother Lynn Locklear of Fountain Hill, AZ; and her nieces, Wendy P. Lamont of Las Vegas, NV and Amy Lynn Cruz of Amsterdam. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (407 Breece St, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Lumbee Memorial Gardens (774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
