He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Stewart and Naomi Oxendine; and his brothers, Jennings Stewart, Phillip Stewart and Harry Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Stewart Jr. of Rowland and Ashley Ivey of Fayetteville, N. C.; his sisters, Patricia Jones of Pembroke, N. C., Cynthia Fuentes of Utah and Vicky Bowen of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Malichi Tyler (Charlotte), Naomie Tyler, Nathaniel Cummings and Linda Cummings; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Tyler, Elijah Tyler and Ezekiel Tyler.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel (2305 Prospect Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
