She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Chavis; her children, Ashkea Chavis of Pembroke and Adam Chavis (Kimberly) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Tristan, Kaitlynn and Gabriel; and her sisters, Pamela Brooks of Pembroke and Charlotte Link (Brad) of Valdese, NC. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
