She was predeceased by: her parents, Britton Oxendine and Beulah L. Oxendine; her son Travis Oxendine; and her siblings, James Alvin, William Danford, James Early, Gene Autry, Britton Jr., David Earl, Jerry, Jimmy Ray, Nelson, Virginia and Rowena.

She is survived by: her daughter Towanda; her grandchildren, Tiani Hope and Braedon Jeffery Locklear; and her close friend Clare Mabel. She is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
