She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Lewis and Luverta Carter Lewis; her siblings, Harold Lewis, Woody Lewis, James Lewis, Geneva Addison and Sandra Kay Godwin; her grandsons, Bobby Lewis and Brandon; and her close friend Douglas Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Justice, Joann Lewis (Geronimo) and Michelle Sampson (Ellery); and her siblings, Wade Douglas (Hazel), Vernon (Sue), Roscoe (Marshall) and Sarah Margaret (Hardee). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
