She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Lowery and Ruby Carter Lowery; and her sisters, Fredia Lowery, Myrna Jean Lowery and Leta G. Lowery.

She is survived by: her daughter Jeri Nichole Locklear; her granddaughter Landrie Isabel Locklear of Pembroke; and her siblings, Sandra Elizabeth Lowery and Harry Carter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
