She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Lacy Cummings; her parents, Murphy Locklear and Aliefair Locklear; her granddaughter Cabrina Cummings; her son-in-law Michael Sampson; and her great grandchild Aden Locklear.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Locklear (Gaston), Vanessa Locklear (Alec), Lavenia Sampson, Helene Lowery (Chester), Rena Hunt (Kenneth), Cletis Deese (Elwood), Lacy Cummings (Bonnie) and Frederick Cummings. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
