He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deese and Inez Deese; his brothers, John Deese, Thomas Deese, Joe Deese, Roy Lee Deese and Jerry Ray Deese; his daughter Beverly Warriax; and his granddaughter Cassidy Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Polly Deese; his children, Ellen Locklear and Lawrence Deese, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashley Oxendine (Clinton), Josh Locklear (Brittany), Candace Locklear (Eric), Ann Locklear (Wayne) and Mckenzie Brewington; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Jacoby, Andrew, Adelynn and Nikita.
