She was predeceased by: her father William Clarence Townsend; and her sister Mildred Townsend. She is survived by: her husband Carlton Drake Dial; her children, Bryan Townsend (Rochelle) of Jacksonville, NC, Carrie Dial Sampson (Jarette) of Pembroke, NC and Julianna Dial Dennis (Michael) of Pinehurst, NC; her grandchildren, Ryan, Ariel, Dalton, Abigail, Ayden, Liam and Kieran; and her siblings, Larry M. Townsend of Pembroke, NC, Garry L. Townsend of Pembroke, NC, A. Dale Townsend of House Springs, MO, Keith D. Townsend of Red Springs, NC, Leslie C. Bullard of Ridge Manor, FL and Jeannie B. Locklear of West End, NC.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
