He was predeceased by: his father Ira Sanderson; and his siblings, Willie Sanderson and Evelyn Sanderson Hampton. He is survived by: his daughters, Sabrina Sanderson-Floyd (Michael) of Lumberton, NC and Amanda Kaye Sanderson of Wagram, NC; his brother Dennis Sanderson (Diane) of Rowland; his grandchildren, Evita Saybrianna Fields of Lumberton, NC and Tristen Lee Groom of Wagram, NC; his great grandchild Liam Alexander Fields of Lumberton, NC; his close friend John "Ikie" Sanderson of Pembroke, NC; and his brother-in-law Darrell Hampton of Germanton, NC.
