She was predeceased by: her father Harvey Halloway Wilkins; her brothers, Hansel Wilkins and Oscar Wilkins; her aunt Barbara Locklear; and her grandson Isaac Strickland.
She is survived by: her husband Luke Strickland; her children, JoEllen Jones, Rhonda Dial (Ray), Ashley Locklear (Timothy), Robert Strickland and Julian Strickland (Wanda); and her brothers, Dock Wilkins, Harvey Jr. Wilkins and Stacey Wilkins. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
