He was predeceased by: his parents, Haynes Deese and Virgie Sanderson Deese; and his sisters, Linda Deese Oxendine and Lillian Brewington. He is survived by: his wife Verdia Ann Dial Deese; his daughter Lindsey Deese Locklear of Rowland, NC; his granddaughter Alannah Rose Locklear of Rowland, NC; his son-in-law Joseph Preston Locklear of Laurinburg, NC; and his siblings, Harry Deese, Peggy Deese Strickland (Romuel) and Miss Valarie M. Deese. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
