With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gurney Hunt (Pembroke, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hunt and Etta Jane Hunt; his brothers, Enarris Harris, Edsol Hunt and Bobby Earl Hunt; and his children, Jeffery Dean Hunt, Kevin Dwayne Hunt and Flossie Maria Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Hunt; his sons, Randy Hunt (Teresa), Grady Lee Hunt (Karon), Ronald Brent Hunt (Celeste) and Donald Kent Hunt (Nahir); and his siblings, Carrie Mable Jones (Russell), Gerald David Hunt (Ruth) and Joseph Arn Hunt (Geraldine). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
