He is survived by: his wife Hazel Sampson Locklear; his children, Gralin Locklear (Penny) and Elsie Sabrina Brayboy (Ricky); his stepdaughters, Kathy Oxendine and Michell Locklear; his grandchildren, Hillary McGirt, Carey Locklear, Madison Locklear and Rebekah Brayboy; his great grandchildren, Jazlyn Locklear, Brooklyn Priest, John McGirt, Jr. (JJ), Mallory Priest, Harper McGirt, Bryla Locklear and Benton Brayboy; and his siblings, Mary Jane Bryant and Russell W. Locklear, Jr. (Patsy). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
