Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Arline Jacobs; and his brothers, James Jacobs and Ricky Jacobs. He is survived by: his father Harvey Jacobs; his daughter Zora Stewart; his brothers, William Chavis (Mary), Ozzie Jacobs Chris Jacobs (MariAnne) and David Jacobs; his niece Amanda Chavis; and his nephew Shawn Chavis.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bear Swamp Baptist Church (1948 St Anna Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372).
