He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Pate and Delia J. Deese-Pate; his brothers-in-law, Anker Ole Bell, Sr. and Bruce Locklear; and his sisters, Gail Denise Pate-Vega and Sherry Ann Pate.
He is survived by: his siblings, Virgil Lowry (Lena Bell), Terry Dale Pate, Sandra Faye Pate-Bell, Mary Juanita Pate-Hardin (Elwood), Deloris Kaye Pate-Oxendine (George) and Debra Sue Pate-Locklear. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (407 Breece St, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at the St. Anna Freewill Baptist Church (1662 St Anna Rd, Pembroke, NC 28372).
