He was predeceased by: his parents, Sallie Hartman (Frey) and Amos Hartman; his wife Dorothy H. Hartman (Rader); and his sisters, Alice Conrad, Grace Redcay, Sarah Dautrich, Mabel Mersinger, May Hartman, Amy Himmelreich, Christine Bingaman and Mildred Reber.
He is survived by: his children, Gary F. Hartman, Jr., Michelle D. Barnes (Robert Barnes), Stephanie A. Hart (Dave Hart) and Christal L. Nordisck (Jake Nordsick). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
